COMMITTED TO SERVICE & EDUCATION

The Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation (HHPF), founded in 1969, is a service organization that provides medical care and materials to underserved people in Honduras and Mexico. We provide 3 types of services that aim to alleviate pain and suffering: Vein care, Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeries, and prolotherapy regenerative treatments for musculoskeletal disorders and chronic pain. We also deliver medical and school supplies to underserved communities of Honduras.   HHPF doubles as an educational organization that provides medical training for physicians around the world about vein care and prolotherapy through service learning trips. Together with our sibling organization, the International Association of Regenerative Medicine (IART), and our affiliates at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, we host an annual prolotherapy medical conference that provides state of the art teaching on prolotherapy injection techniques.

HHPF hosts veincare clinics every January in conjunction with Iglesia Palabra De La Vida in Guadaljara, Mexico and in March, with the Redcross in Honduras.  Hundreds of patients with vein disease get treated.

Prolotherapy regenerative injections treat musculoskeletal disorders and chronic pain. HHPF service learning trips &  training programs are designed to serve the community and provide healthcare professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to administer prolotherapy injections safely and effectively.

HHPF ear nose and throat (ENT) volunteer physicians come to Honduras every March to do life changing surgeries for the underserved communities in who can not afford healthcare.

Our foundation accepts donations of medical equipment and school supplies year round. Every January in Madison, Wisconsin, volunteers get together to pack the donations into a semi truck to be delivered to the underserved communities of Honduras.
